How Funding Works
The government provides funding for your training in what are called milestone payments. Typically, there are four milestone payments, and here’s how they are structured:
Initial Enrolment Payment: We receive the first payment when you enrol and start the training program.
Mid-Training Payment: The second payment is made halfway through your training.
Training Completion Payment: The third payment is received when you complete your training and pass all necessary tests.
Successful Job Outcome Payment: The largest portion of the funding is provided only after you secure a job with a new employer.
Why a Job Offer is Important
The final and largest portion of funding depends on you getting a job after completing your training. This means:
Financial Risk for Us: If we train candidates who do not secure employment, we take a significant financial risk because the actual cost of the training provided is not covered until the final payment is claimed.
Focus on Employment: We emphasise having a job offer in place to ensure that both you and our program succeed. It helps us maintain high-quality training and support for all candidates.
What This Means for You?
Pre-Training Job Offer: We encourage you to secure a potential job offer before starting the training. This ensures that you are on a clear path to employment once you complete the program. We have put together some helpful information on HOW TO FIND A PROTENTIAL EMPLOYER
Understanding the Emphasis: Knowing this funding structure helps you understand why we prioritise candidates who have job offers. It’s not just about getting trained but also about ensuring you have a successful career start.
