This course focuses on the importance of looking after yourself whilst in charge of a truck or coach, the key issues affecting driver health and fitness to drive, the potential health risks and how to avoid them.

The course covers management of an unresponsive casualty, CPR and the recovery position, dealing with bleeding and shock, as well as choking, seizures, stroke and minor injuries. The course includes practical and written exercises and learners will get hands on experience of placing someone in the recovery position and delivering CPR as well as completing an accident report form.

With vulnerable road user accidents a major cause for concern this course outlines how and why urban streetscapes are changing identifying road users who are vulnerable and why.
