How does a Transport Supervisor Apprenticeship work?

This Level 3 tailored logistics apprenticeship is a 13-month programme has been created to meet employers’ requirements while minimising the disruption to business. Much of the skills’ development happens while the employee is on the job at work!

The Transport Manager CPC element of the programme offers 10 days of “off the job” training. The rest of the training is then formulated by attending planned-in virtual classroom sessions, online learning and on the job “buddy” training.

Apprenticeship Costs

For larger employers, the cost of the training element is FULLY FUNDED by your apprenticeship levy. For SMEs who do not pay a levy tax, there is a 5% contribution required. This 5% equates to only £250 per learner – far cheaper than commercial training!

Please note that the Management CPC exam fees are not covered by the government funding. There are 2 parts to the exam which come to a total price of £125 which is payable for all employers.


How is the Transport Supervisor Apprenticeship Course delivered?

We use an online support system for learners called OLLIE. This acts as an online portfolio as well as a structured training and progress resource that can be accessed by a computer, tablet or smart phone.

The actual training is a mixture of online and face to face practical!

  • Live remote lessons once a month delivered by our expert training using zoom technology
  • Online Interactive training modules accessed though learning platform OLLIE
  • Management CPC – 10 day course and exam is arranged at our training centre or local to you in an approved provider
  • The final End Point Assessment (EPA) is arranged locally with the awarding body and attended over zoom
