Many builders’ merchants operate HIAB-equipped vehicles for site deliveries.
While HIAB training is not part of the core apprenticeship, once a driver gains their Category C licence, HIAB operation can be added as an additional short course.
This extra qualification enables safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials on-site, making it a valuable skill for professional urban drivers.

Around half a day per week for online learning: Complete theory and CPC modules at your own pace with flexibility to fit around your work schedule.
