Katy’s Blog – part 7

We  thought the best way for everyone to understand what goes on during an apprenticeship was to get one of our apprentices point of view. Katy is doing her Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship with us and has very kindly agreed to keep you all up to date.

First blog of the year and January is basically over already.  The weeks have flown by.

Since my last blog I haven’t actually been into SP Training but I am back in on the 8^th of February.

Over the past month I have been improving my knowledge of my work place and picking up more information on what goes on outside the office/warehouse.  I serviced up some spares for a job, which was great, because it expands the variety of my  job even more.  This month I have started answering the phone, and as stupid as this may sound it was like a massive thing for me.  It’s like the fear of the unknown you don’t know who’s calling what they want or who they want to speak to.  Whereas if you’re making the call you know who you’re calling and why so it’s no problem.  I’m slowly getting the hang of it though.

I’ve got many things planned for this year and I can’t wait.  My holiday, cocktail night, Macklemore, climbing Ben Nevis for McMillan and the best of all my 18^th!  Lets hope I get my tattoo for my birthday!!
