Skills Bootcamps are free training courses in England that last up to 16 weeks. The courses are suitable if you’re new to heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driving, or you’re returning to driving.

HGV Skills Bootcamp places are in high demand and we are currently adding new applicants to a waiting list for places.

Completing the following application will gauge your eligibility for Skills Bootcamp funding, and if successful you will be added to the waiting list.

To successfully complete your Bootcamp journey, can you commit to all of the below:

  • 20 hrs of online learning via OLLIE. Completion time of 4 weeks.
  • Be able to take time off to attend theory tests.
  • Be able to take 2 weeks off to attend practical driver training/test.

Funding rules apply therefore, progress will be monitored throughout and failure to abide by these requirements will result in withdrawal from the Bootcamp journey.

Cat C to C+E - Rigid to Artic: You must already hold a Cat C/Class 2 licence.

Cat C - Rigid & Cat C+E - Artic can be done from a standard car licence.
